Hello everyone and welcome to the latest newsletter from Hitchin Swimming Club.

Club news

· Web site – at long last I am pleased to say that the new web site is up and running. www.hitchinswimmingclub.co.uk. I have not uploaded all the pages yet but will do in the next week or so. Please let me know what you think. Also, let me know of any errors – in the nicest possible way of course.

· Club championships – results will be sent out later today. Congratulations to all swimmers who took part.

· Swimmers and parents are reminded not to use cameras, including mobile phones, at Hitchin Swimming Centre or at St Christopher’s.

· Hitchin Open Meet – if anyone wants an entry form then look at the new web site. Please pass completed forms to Lee or Yvonne Chivers, along with a cheque made payable to the club. We encourage all our swimmers to enter our own open – ask Lee to see which events you should enter.

· Speedo League Round One – this is on 13^th October and Hitchin Swimming Club is hosting. Let me know if you can volunteer to help out.

· Congratulations to Callum Chivers who finished his first open water swim of 1Km at Kings Lynn last weekend.
